The private work journal
Your career doesn't fit in one company's tools.
save brain power is an end-to-end encrypted workspace for people who work across companies — every task, meeting, person, and note in one place that belongs to you, and reads to everyone else as noise.

Everything you do, one keystroke away.
Not another to-do app. A system of record for a working life that spans companies.
Built for more than one company
Companies are a first-class concept, not a workaround. Tasks, meetings, people, and tags live scoped to each employer or client — switch context in one click and nothing bleeds across.
A journal that writes itself
Connect GitHub, Linear, Google Calendar, and Granola. Pull requests, issues, meetings, and AI meeting summaries flow into your day on their own. You review; you don't transcribe.
Walk into every meeting prepared
Mark a recurring series as a stand-up or a 1-1, press one button, and AI drafts your talking points from what you actually did since the last one — tasks, reviews, blockers, open threads.
Remember every person
Private notes on the people you work with, per company: what you discussed, what they own, what you agreed. Never open a 1-1 blank again.
Performance-review ammunition
When review season hits, your evidence is already assembled: what shipped, when, where, with receipts. Export to Markdown or Obsidian whenever you want — it's your data.
Every device, instantly
Real-time sync across your laptops and phone. The sync channel carries change signals only — your content never travels unencrypted, not even between your own devices.
Zero knowledge
We can't read your notes.
Neither can anyone who asks us to.
Your notes span employers, clients, and years — which is exactly why they can't live in anyone else's hands. Everything you write is encrypted in your browser with keys derived from your passphrase. What reaches our servers is ciphertext, stored as ciphertext, synced as ciphertext.
This isn't a policy promise that can change with an acquisition. It's math.

Client-side AES-GCM. The encryption key never leaves your device. A recovery phrase — held only by you — is the single way back in.
- →
Encrypted at every layer. Titles, notes, dates, attendees — even large documents are stored as sealed blobs the backend can only shuttle around, never open.
- →
Sync without disclosure. Live multi-device sync broadcasts carry only "something changed here" signals — content never rides the wire in the clear.

AI on your terms. Bring your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter key. Calls go from your browser through your own relay to your provider — we're never in the loop.

Fair questions
› Can an employer or client see anything I write here?
No. Nothing lives inside any company's systems, and everything you write is encrypted in your browser before it leaves. Your notes about work stay yours — across job changes, contract ends, and laptop returns.
› What happens when I change jobs or add a client?
You add a company and keep going. Your history — people, decisions, shipped work — stays with you. That continuity is the entire point: your career outlasts any single employer.
› How can AI features work if you can't read my data?
You bring your own API key (Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter) and your own relay. AI calls go straight from your browser through your relay to your provider. Our servers never see the plaintext — for AI or anything else.
› What if I lose my recovery phrase?
Then your data is gone — and that's not a bug. Zero-knowledge means exactly that: we hold no key, so we can't reset, recover, or be compelled to hand over what you wrote. Keep the phrase safe.
› Can I get my data out?
Yes. One-click export to Markdown / Obsidian. No lock-in, no export tax, no dark patterns.
Companies come and go.
Your brain shouldn't reset.
